Schedule
We are a year-round preschool program with a consistent daily rhythm designed to support young children’s growth, regulation, and sense of security.
Our academic year follows the Seattle Public Schools calendar, including most school holidays and breaks. During the summer months, we offer a separate summer session with two schedule options.
Daily Rythm
Children thrive on predictable routines, and our schedule balances structure with flexibility. A typical day includes:

• 9:30 – 10:00 Morning Snack
• 10:00 - 10:30 Circle time / Movement Activities
• 10:30 – 11:15 Project Work / Art / Explorations
• 11:15 – 12:00 Outdoor Play
• 12:00– 12:45 Lunch
• 12:45 – 1:15 Story Time/ Meditation / Reading
• 1:15 – 2:30 Quiet Activities / Rest Period
• 2:30 - 3:30 Afternoon Snack / Outdoor Play
• 3:30 - School Day Pickup
• 3:30 – 5:30 Extended Care (outside play, board games, calm activities)
Note: Times may shift based on weather, group needs, and age mix.
School Year Schedule
September – June
• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
This schedule aligns closely with the Seattle Public Schools calendar. We close for major holidays, one week for mid-winter break, one week for spring break, and additional days for professional development and family conferences. A detailed school-year calendar is shared each August.
Summer Session
July – August
Families may choose from two schedule options during our flexible summer program:
• 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Summer programming maintains the same approach and structure as the school year, with more time outdoors, seasonal projects, and space for relaxed transitions.
Tuition
We offer two enrollment options: a standard School Day schedule and an extended Full Day schedule with additional afternoon care. Tuition is billed monthly and reflects the small class size, experienced staff, and high-quality programming your child receives each day.
We do not offer part-time, drop-in, or hourly care. Families enrolling mid-year may receive prorated tuition.

• Licensed, full-time early childhood educators

Families provide a daily lunch and a backpack with extra clothes and weather gear.
